Eric J. Freeman Joins Mintz Levin's Growing Real Estate Practice

Boston, MA - October 4, 2007 - Continuing the expansion of its national real estate practice, Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. announced the addition of Eric J. Freeman to the firm.  Mr. Freeman joins as a Member in the Boston office.

Mr. Freeman was most recently a Director in the Real Estate Group at Goulston & Storrs. His practice concentrates on real estate finance and asset acquisition and disposition.  On behalf of a family of real estate funds, Mr. Freeman oversaw the $2.5 billion acquisition of multi-family, industrial and office properties across the country.  He has also represented pension advisory companies in the disposition and acquisition of $200 million of industrial, office and retail properties, in addition to representing developers and property owners in connection with $500 million of construction and permanent financing.

Recently the firm expanded the real estate practice to the West Coast with the addition of Scott Biel in its San Diego office. 

A graduate of Bates College, Mr. Freeman earned his law degree from Boston College Law School.
