New York, NY – Victor Mustelier, most recently a partner at D'Amato & Lynch with an expertise in the intricacies of international insurance litigation and arbitration, has joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C., as a Member in the New York office, practicing in the Litigation Section.
Deeply experienced in complex insurance matters, Mr. Mustelier has been the lead outside attorney handling numerous litigation and arbitration cases on behalf of American International Group (AIG). In addition, he has served as AIG's top lawyer in Europe for financial insurance products and has been responsible for managing U.S. and European legal issues affecting the company's financial insurance operations in Europe. His extensive background also includes handling matters involving major international financial losses, D&O liability, corporate governance, reinsurance and insurance coverage disputes, among others, on behalf of a range of clients.

Mr. Mustelier graduated from Stanford University and the Boalt Hall School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley. He completed a federal judicial clerkship in the District of Hawaii and is admitted to practice in New York state and federal courts. As a fluent speaker of English, French and Spanish, Mr. Mustelier is fully trilingual.
