Nationally Prominent Health Care Antitrust Attorney Christi J. Braun Joins Mintz Levin, Expanding Firm's Washington, DC Office

Washington, DCChristi J. Braun has joined Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. as a Member in the Washington DC office, practicing in the firm’s Antitrust and Federal Regulation Section.  Most recently she was a Principal at Ober, Kaler, Grimes & Shriver, P.C.

Ms. Braun is a nationally-prominent health care antitrust lawyer, who has focused her practice on counseling health care clients on matters involving antitrust compliance, business transactions, clinical integration, and litigation of antitrust and other commercial matters.  Prior to entering private practice, she served as a staff attorney with the Federal Trade Commission.  Ms. Braun is currently co-chair of the Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Antitrust Law.  She is a frequent writer and speaker on healthcare antitrust matters.

Ms. Braun has represented clients in antitrust litigation in federal and state courts and in antitrust investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and several state attorneys general. She routinely represents physicians, hospitals, ancillary care providers, independent practice associations, physician-hospital organizations, pharmacy services administrative organizations, trade associations and insurers in all phases of investigation and litigation arising from antitrust claims and other civil statutes.

Ms. Braun received her M.P.H from the Boston University School of Public Health, her J.D. cum laude from Boston University School of Law and and her bachelor’s degree summa cum laude from Creighton University.
