Mintz Levin Represents N.E.W. in $370 Million Acquisition

TH Lee Putnam Ventures and Freeman Spogli announced that they, along with current management of N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc., have acquired a significant equity stake in NEW, the leading independent administrator of warranty and extended service contracts for retailers, utilities, manufacturers, and financial services firms in the United States, at an enterprise value of approximately $370 Million. CIBC acted as advisor to NEW, which turned to Mintz Levin attorney Mark Wishner for legal advice.
Mark practices in the Business and Finance Section of the firm's Reston office and is a member of the firm's Policy Committee. He counsels companies from original business plans through initial public offerings and beyond. Mark has extensive transactional experience representing clients in public and private securities offerings, venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, and licensing and other technology transfers.
