Joins Growing Practice of Bi-Partisan, Former Senior Level
Congressional and Executive Branch Staffers
Washington, D.C. - ML Strategies, LLC, the consulting affiliate of law firm Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, PC, announced that Jeremy Rabinovitz, a veteran staffer of the House of Representatives, will join its Washington, D.C. office as Vice President of Government Relations. Rabinovitz starts at ML Strategies on March 5.
A 20-year veteran of the House, Mr. Rabinovitz has served as Chief of Staff for Rep. Lois Capps (D-CA) since her special election in 1998. He held the same position for her late husband, first-term Representative Walter Capps (D-CA). Congresswoman Capps serves on the Committee on Energy and Commerce. Under his guidance, Representative Capps developed a substantial legislative profile on a range of issues, including health care, the environment, energy, telecommunications, and international relations.
Prior to serving for Representative Walter Capps, Mr. Rabinovitz served as Chief of Staff for Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) where he oversaw many of her successful efforts on the Banking and Government Reform Committees and for Rep. Stephen Solarz (D-NY), a widely respected senior Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
Mr. Rabinovitz joins former Capitol Hill veterans David Leiter, the former Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy at the Department of Energy during the Clinton/Gore administration and Chief of Staff to U.S. Senator John Kerry (D-MA); Mark Buse who worked 18 years for United States Senator John McCain (R-AZ), both in the Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives and was Staff Director and Majority Policy Director of the Senate Commerce Committee and; Steve Irizarry, formerly Senior Health Counsel to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, the Senate Aging, and the House Energy and Commerce Committees; and Ken Connolly, formerly Staff Director of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and Legislative Director to Senator James Jefford (I-VT).

A Boston native, Mr. Rabinovitz attended Harvard College, graduating with a degree in psychology and social relations.
