Training

Because of frequently shifting legal requirements and to Mintz Levin's dedication to providing our clients with an awareness of legal issues and practical advice, we host a variety of training programs and offerings that many clients have taken advantage of, which include the following:

HR Basics

Start-Up Kits focus on the legal nuts and bolts of becoming an employer during the start-up phase and are particularly beneficial for the firm's many start-up clients, as the gifted entrepreneurs who get them off the ground begin to face the administrative challenges inherent in growing an idea into a successful company.

Professionalism in the Workplace and Antiharassment Training

These training programs are designed to educate the management and staff of established corporations about day-to-day potential harassment and discrimination pitfalls in the workplace, including issues such as sexual harassment and discrimination awareness and prevention.

Seminars and Workshops

In order to ensure that our clients are aware of timely issues and changes occurring in the employment law field, we regularly offer an in-depth look at various topics clients may face in their daily business practices. For example, Mintz Levin hosts Breakfast Briefings and HIPAA seminars, among other workshops and training on an assortment of employment law and benefits topics.

Client Advisories, Articles and E-mail Alerts

The Employment, Labor and Benefits Section reaches out to clients through a number of publications authored by the section's attorneys. Seasonal advisories highlight recently enacted legislation that affects employers. Articles and e-mail alerts, which focus on hot topics in the employment field, are sent intermittently when significant issues arise.
