Environmental

Mintz Levin has developed one of the largest environmental law practices in New England by anticipating and responding to clients' needs in this critical practice area. We are capable of handling all types of environmental law engagements, including the most sophisticated and complex.

Our attorneys bring to bear many years of environmental legal experience, a range of private- and public-sector perspectives, and, in a number of instances, scientific and planning backgrounds. These multidisciplinary skills offer clients a unique advantage when working with Mintz Levin to achieve project, litigation and operational objectives.

Our Environmental Practice provides comprehensive environmental legal services ranging from facility planning and permitting at all levels to representing clients in complex environmental litigation and enforcement actions. Some examples include:

  • Providing opinions to major corporate, financial and real estate clients on environmental issues associated with business and real property acquisitions and financings,
  • Providing advice relating to hazardous materials remediation and compliance, and federal and state legislative and regulatory representation, and
  • Advising our clients with respect to emerging regulatory developments and other public and private initiatives.

By recommending innovative operational approaches to compliance, we work proactively to prevent liability and achieve environmental excellence.
